Commercial Insurances

 

 

Business Insurance, Trade Insurance & Professionals Business Insurance

     

One or a combination of a number of the covers detailed below may be included in a tailored Business Insurance Policy. We will work with you and recommend a solution to address your individual businesses risks. Rather than paying in one lump sum, we can arrange for monthly payment of premiums directly from your bank account or credit card.

Fire & Other Damage

Covers the loss or damage to buildings, stock, customer goods and business contents for specified events such as fire, storm (flood, if agreed), impact, lightning, explosion, earthquake or accidental damage. The cost to remove debris is one of the additional benefits.

Burglary

Covers you if your contents or stock (including customer’s goods) are stolen as a result of forced entry. As an optional extra, you can be covered for theft that occurs without forced entry.

Business Interruption

Covers the loss of income, and the increased costs of working, caused by an interruption to your business as a result of damage. This damage may be caused by any of the events covered, including Fire and Other Damage, Money, Goods in Transit, Glass, General Property or Burglary.

Glass Breakage

Covers the breakage of glass at the business premises. This includes the cost of temporary shuttering, replacement of sign writing, repairing plastic signs (up to $5,000), and the cost value of stock ruined by the broken glass.

Public and Products Liability

Covers your legal liability to pay damages for either damage to property owned by someone else, or personal injury to another person (other than an employee) or advertising liability caused by an event connected with your business.

Tax Audit

Covers you for the professional fees you need to pay in connection with an audit or review or investigation of your business’ tax affairs – whether they involve the Commonwealth or your State/Territory.

Goods in Transit

Covers you for the loss or damage to your goods that you sell, buy or use in your business whilst in transit caused by specified events, such as collision, overturning, derailment, fire, explosion, or theft following forcible and violent entry to the vehicle. Cover for the damage to goods during loading and unloading can be added to your policy. You may choose either Option A – Specified Perils or Option B – Accidental Damage.

Equipment Breakdown

Covers you for the cost of repairing or replacing electrical, electronic or mechanical equipment that suffers physical damage from a sudden and accidental failure. There is also optional cover for the deterioration of refrigerated stock, or substitute computer systems and restoration of computer data.

General Property

Covers loss or damage to property that you usually take with you to work.

Fraud and Dishonesty

Covers you for the theft of your goods or money by any of your employees.

Money

Covers you for money that is lost, or damaged, while being kept in your building (during business hours or outside business hours), in transit or at your private residence.

Commercial Motor Insurance & Commercial Motor Fleet Insurance

     

Insurance for your business use vehicles, company cars and transport vehicles that are under 5 tonnes carrying capacity.

Comprehensive Insurance

Cover for accidental loss or damage, fire, theft or attempted theft, malicious damage to vehicles.  Also covers damage to other people’s property caused by your insured vehicles, up to $30 million.

Legal Liability Insurance

Cover for up to $30 million for amounts you are legally liable to pay as a result of property damage caused by your vehicle.

Contract Works & Legal Liability Insurance

     

If you own, run or manage a construction site, whether a multi-story development or simply an owner builder of a dwelling, we can assist you to insure for a variety of scenarios. Cyber Insurance

     

Cybercrime attacks are on the increase and businesses need to do more to combat the threat from internal and external attacks. Cyber insurance offers cover for:

First Party Costs

Reimburses the Insured for the costs they would incur to respond to a breach, such as IT Forensic Costs, Credit Monitoring Costs, Public Relations Expenses and Cyber Extortion Costs (including ransom payments to hackers).

Third Party Claims

Covers the Insured’s liability to third parties from a failure to keep data secure, such as claims for compensation by third parties, investigations, defence costs and fines and penalties from breaching the Privacy Act.

Employment Practices Liability

     

Employment Practices Liability Insurance is designed to cover legal liability arising out of claims by employees for;

  • Discrimination;
  • Unfair dismissal; and
  • Workplace harassment.

Farm Insurance

Industrial Special Risk insurance combines several individual policies and covers, into one policy. We will offer you choice by working with you to understand your needs, identifying the best policies to meet your needs and offering the best price on premium that we can secure. Rather than paying in one lump sum, we can arrange for monthly payment of premiums.

Management Liability

     

Management Liability Insurance is designed to provide protection for directors, officers and the company in the running of a business. It incorporates cover for;

  • Statutory liability;

  • Employment practices
  • Statutory fines and penalties (Cival)
  • Public relations expenses

Directors of companies have an obligation to meet the requirements of the Corporations Act 2001 which contains over seven hundred statutes.

Marine Insurance

     

Marine insurance is designed to protect against loss or damage to goods or merchandise transported inland within Australia or internationally.

Not-for-profit Organisations Insurance (NFPO)

     

Insurance designed specifically for volunteer and community groups. NFPO insurance will cover your volunteer or community group for public liability exposure for both your staff and volunteers injured while helping or in the event of injury to a member of the public at one of your events.

Product Recall

     

Legal liability for all costs, expenses and damages for withdrawal or recall of goods or products because of any known or suspected defect or deficiency therein.

Professional Indemnity

     

Professional Indemnity Insurance is designed to cover legal liability to compensate third parties for loss or injury sustained by them arising out of negligent acts, errors or omissions on the part of the insured in the conduct of their business. Benefits include:
